An important software update has taken place in Celery for the country of Aruba. As of 1 July 2018, an increased Small Income Allowance (in Dutch: Reparatietoeslag) applies. This change has effect on gross salary between AWG. 1,711 and 2,500. In addition, the AZV-premium has changed per July 1, 2018. This amendment applies to premium liable persons who are eligible for an AOV-pension based on their age.
In the table below, you will see the new small income allowance per scale. Compared to the previous table, the Small Income Allowance in the new table has increased in all scales with AWG 20.00 per month.
For a salary in a calendar month of:

Change of AZV-premium
In addition, the AZV-premium has changed per July 1, 2018. This amendment applies to premium liable persons who are eligible for an AOV-pension based on their age.
As per the date mentioned, the AZV-premium for premium liable persons amounts to 6.5% over a premium income of AWG 30,000 per year (instead of 10.5%). The regular 10.5% applies to the multiple premium wage above AWG 30,000 to AWG 85,000.
If you want to apply this 6.5% premium, you must activate this option in Celery in the AZV button for the relevant employees. The above option is of course only available for employees who are eligible for this based on their age.
