The minimum wage in Aruba is increased per May 1, 2019 by 3%. The last change in the minimum wage was per August 1, 2017.

Important software update for Aruba: change of Small Income Allowance and AZV premium

An important software update has taken place in Celery for the country of Aruba. As of 1 July 2018, an increased Small Income Allowance (in Dutch: Reparatietoeslag) applies. This change has effect on gross salary between AWG. 1,711 and 2,500. In addition, the AZV-premium has changed per July 1, 2018. This amendment applies to premium liable persons who are eligible for an AOV-pension based on their age.

As of July 1, 2016 the SVB wage limit of AWG 54,600 per year (AWG 4,550 per month) changes to AWG 70,200 per year (AWG 5,850 per month).

Software update: Aruba payrolls now also possible in Celery

In addition to Curaçao and Sint Maarten payrolls it is now also possible to process Aruba payrolls in Celery. Last year intensive tests were conducted on the addition of Aruba and, since then, the first Aruba payrolls have been processed without any errors. The addition of Aruba to Celery is a free software update and is available for each Celery user.
